Description

BOMA Industry Series | Codes & Compliance – Elevating Devices
Presented by Alberta Elevating Devices and Amusement Rides Safety Association (AEDARSA)

Elevating device codes are evolving, and expectations on building operators, property managers and building owners are increasing.

This timely and essential Codes & Compliance session delivers a clear, practical briefing on what’s new, what’s changed, and what you need to know now to remain compliant under Alberta’s Safety Codes framework. Whether you oversee a single building or a portfolio, this is a session you do not want to miss.

AEDARSA will walk attendees through current requirements, upcoming considerations, and common compliance gaps related to elevators, escalators, and other elevating devices, with a focus on real-world application, risk management, and operational accountability.
