You’ll collaborate with engineers, operators, corporate teams, and external partners to embed sustainable energy practices in every corner of our operations. This is a role with influence, visibility, and real impact.
🌍 What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Process Development & Support Manager, you’ll support EPCOR Water Services’ energy strategy through work that includes:
Climate Change Mitigation & Sustainability
- Designing and implementing carbon‑reduction programs that align with EPCOR’s corporate and business unit goals.
- Leveraging renewable energy certificates (RECs) and carbon offset opportunities.
- Staying on top of emerging industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Energy Efficiency Leadership
- Identifying new opportunities to reduce energy use across facilities.
- Leading energy‑saving projects from concept through execution.
- Working closely with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize equipment and process efficiency.
Energy Analysis & Reporting
- Monitoring and analyzing energy consumption across all operations.
- Tracking energy markets and performance trends.
- Preparing detailed reports and presenting your findings to senior leadership.
- Developing dashboards and performance metrics to track progress.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partnering with internal teams to advance sustainability culture.
- Collaborating with government agencies, energy suppliers, and other partners.
Compliance & Financial Stewardship
- Ensuring compliance with relevant energy regulations and standards.
- Identifying funding and grant opportunities for sustainability projects.
- Conducting cost‑benefit analysis for proposed initiatives.
🧠 What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who blends technical knowledge with strategic thinking, collaboration, and a passion for sustainability.
Education & Credentials
- Degree in Environmental Science, Energy Management, Engineering or Engineering Technology with P.L. designation from a recognized post-secondary institute.
- Professional designation in field of study.
- Additional certifications in energy management or climate mitigation are an asset.
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years in energy management, climate change mitigation, or sustainable systems operation.
- Strong capability with energy monitoring, reporting tools, and project management.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.

📌 Additional Details
- This is a full‑time professional position, working 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday).
- Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

- You will be reimbursed in accordance with EPCOR’s Employee Mileage Reimbursement Policy.
