The Residential Designer will contribute to all stages of project development, working with consultants in completing various project deliverables. The responsibilities will include conception, design-to-fit customer needs, and team collaboration.
Essential Functions
- Creation, design, and execution of projects in Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development and tender packages.
- Development of innovative and functional design solutions and processes.
- Identify specific needs on architectural guidelines for new subdivisions.
- Design new homes, new elevations and site plans.
- Coordination with Purchasing and Marketing departments.
- Release drawings to Purchasing department.
- Support the Marketing department in preparation of marketing materials.
- Contribute to the review of the drawing packages for accuracy, design integrity and code compliance.
- Organize and present new ideas to stakeholders.
- Quantity take offs and estimating as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION - Beneficial
- Associate's degree in Design and Technical Production
- Associate's degree in Architecture
