Location: BOMA Edmonton + North Office (In-Office, Monday to Wednesday)
Reports To: Senior Manager, Operations and Strategic Programs
BOMA Edmonton + North is seeking a part-time Administrative Intern to join our team. This in-office internship offers hands-on experience supporting a busy, dynamic office in the commercial real estate industry. Hours are flexible and may vary depending on support needed for ongoing events.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, organize, and manage internal and external meetings, including agenda preparation, participant coordination, room logistics, and follow-up action items.
- Coordinate room bookings and space set-up for meetings, events, and committee functions, including AV equipment and catering coordination.
- Prepare and process regular bank deposits, ensuring accuracy and proper reconciliation with accounting processes.
- Act as a liaison with vendors and service providers, managing relationships, scheduling service delivery, and ensuring invoices are processed timely.
- Maintain accurate files and records, both digital and physical, ensuring data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
- Assist with drafting, formatting, and distributing internal documents, memos, and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the operations and success of the office.
Requirements:
- GED or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience preferred (or equivalent coursework/internship experience)
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
