Finance Team Lead

Agilus is recruiting for a Team Lead, Finance in the staffing services sector in a hybrid work environment in Edmonton, Alberta. 

This opportunity is ideally suited for individuals who lead by example. You will perform a variety of accounting functions, coordinate and assign team tasks and champion process improvement.

You will:

• • Prepare and/or review journal entries, payment reconciliations, balance sheet accounts and internal reports
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and Statistics Canada reporting
  • Prepare financial information including trial balances, bank reporting, financial statements and write reports
  • Reconcile financial data, audit report data and act as a planning resource for budgeting process
  • Ensure organization complies with financial regulations and tax laws and participate in audits as required
  • Ensure team deliverables are completed accurately and on time, reinforce best practices and promote an innovative and collaborative work environment

Successful candidates will have:

• • 5+ years accounting experience; public accounting experience is an asset
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Great Plains and erecruit is an asset
  • Proven ability to work with high volume, complex transactions
  • Demonstrated organizational adaptability and respect for confidentiality
  • Recognized strength and pride in attention to detail, numerical accuracy and solution oriented mindset
