ABOUT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

IT proudly provides the computer systems, security, IT services and governance that support AGLC’s businesses, including the operation & support of mission critical gaming, liquor and corporate systems running on a variety of computing platforms. IT ensures the stability and performance of a Local/Wide Area Network, which supports over 1,200 gaming locations and more than 2,000 computers/tablets, 150 physical and 2,000 virtual servers distributed across six corporate offices, casinos, RECs and bingo halls. IT provides leadership in the use of information technology, data and systems to help the AGLC achieve business goals and objectives.

Salary: $86,011.41 - $113,924.75

JOB SUMMARY:

AGLC is looking for an analytical, tech‑savvy project professional who can turn data into insights, improve processes, and support enterprise‑level decision‑making. If you enjoy leading end‑to‑end projects, working with project management tools, and helping organizations deliver smarter, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact.

As an Enterprise Portfolio Advisor, you’ll support how AGLC plans, prioritizes, and delivers its corporate and IT initiatives. You’ll work closely with the Senior Manager, Enterprise Portfolio to strengthen portfolio practices, enhance reporting, and ensure initiatives stay aligned to strategic objectives.

What you’ll do!

• Analyze project and portfolio data and translate it into clear, actionable insights.
• Lead improvements to portfolio governance practices, templates, and standards.
• Prepare and deliver monthly portfolio reporting and executive‑level summaries.
• Support benefits, financial, and risk management activities across the portfolio.
• Administer and enhance AGLC’s project and portfolio management (PPM) tool, including configuration, user support, and training materials.
• Contribute to project intake, prioritization, and resource planning processes.
• Lead or support process improvements that enhance delivery and organizational agility.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• A degree in computer science, project management, business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience leading full cycle projects.
• Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools).
• Experience with project management or portfolio management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for senior audiences.
• Assets include:
• Experience with Portfolio or Program Management practices
• Experience developing governance frameworks or standards
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, MoP, or PfMP.
