As the Western Canada Carbon Lead for Stantec Consulting, Tanya brings an incredible passion to her work delivering with a cross-disciplinary team of specialists supporting the rapid reduction of carbon emissions in the built environment, increase resilience against climate risks, and have a positive impact on the socio-ecological health of our communities. With over 30 years’ green experience as a key relationship builder and client focused problem solver; Tanya has a solid understanding of industry issues with knowledge from diverse perspectives. Tanya ensures the team is apprised of all complexities and fast-paced changes of sustainability and green building, showcasing Stantec as a leader in the industry. Tanya considers the triple bottom line when applying the lens of sustainability and offers a unique perspective that resonates with shareholders, tax payers, and clients.

Tanya’s gives back to the Edmonton community as a BOMA Edmonton Director, Chair of the NAIT Alternative Energy Advisory Committee and and Founding Chair for the Smart Sustainable Resilient Infrastructure Association where she promotes sustainability through leadership, programming, innovation and evidence based research.

Brandy is a dedicated professional and community builder focused on creating healthy, equitable, and resilient communities. With nearly two decades of senior leadership and real estate industry experience, I am committed to engaging with diverse audiences to future-proof investments and mitigate risk.

An accomplished and agile strategist, her focus includes shaping growth, innovation, marketing, and sales initiatives, targeting sustainability, community benefits, building performance, and public policy. I am known to be a high-energy, hands-on team builder and have been an active representative at board, executive and industry association levels.

Brandy brings extensive experience leading sustainability-focused initiatives across Canada including building the business case for green communities and buildings in lockstep with market and stakeholder engagement. All while developing and delivering various educational offerings, both in person and virtually for post-secondary institutions, industry events & conferences.
