Andrea Linsky – Director of Emissions Neutral Buildings at Alberta Ecotrust Foundation
Andrea Linsky is the Director of Emissions Neutral Buildings at Alberta Ecotrust Foundation. While with Alberta Ecotrust she has led the launch of the Emissions-Neutral Building Information Exchange (ENBIX), an Alberta based initiative to help share information and build skills around construction and operations of sustainable buildings. Andrea has also led the development of the Alberta Ecotrust Retrofit Accelerator. Andrea has over 15 years of experience working as a Professional Engineer in the fields of energy management, renewable energy, corporate emissions reductions, training and capacity-building.
Ashley Jones – Development Director, Ontario and Western Canada at SOFIAC
Ashley brings over five years of experience in the energy sector, assisting both public and private organizations in achieving their sustainability objectives. She spent more than a decade with a top Energy Service Company (ESCO) and has recently taken on a leadership role in Business Development at SOFIAC. As a LEED-accredited Green Associate, Ashley is eager to help businesses navigate the challenges of the Canadian climate crisis.
Beata Domanska, MBA, PMP, LEED AP – Senior Director, Development at Efficiency Capital
Beata serves as the Senior Director of Projects and Asset Management at Efficiency Capital where she plays a pivotal role advancing energy efficiency initiatives in the built environment. Beata recognizes the key challenges building owners face – limited knowledge, time, and capital - in pursuing deep energy efficiency retrofits. Efficiency Capital’s innovative model effectively addresses these barriers while reducing energy and greenhouse gas emissions, enhancing building resilience, and creating healthier spaces for occupants - all without upfront investment from building owners.
Bala Gnanam – Vice President of Sustainability, Advocacy & Stakeholder Relations at BOMA Canada
Bala Gnanam is the Vice President of Sustainability, Advocacy & Stakeholder Relations at the Building Owners and Managers Association of Canada (BOMA Canada). With over two decades of expertise spanning energy, commercial real estate, and manufacturing, Bala is a recognized advocate for sustainability and climate action through building performance. He spearheads BOMA Canada’s Enspire program and advocacy efforts, working with industry stakeholders, including local BOMA associations to support Canada’s commercial real estate sector. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Demand Side Manager (CDSM) through the Association of Energy Engineers.
