All industrial and commercial water systems need treatment to prevent microbiological growth, system scaling or system corrosion. Traditionally this has been done with solid and liquid chemicals with varying degrees of success. Getting successful treatment results are hit and miss and these chemicals, when used and discharged, are very harmful to operations staff and the environment. In 2019, Hawkstone Solutions set out to change the paradigm by removing all chemicals from its water treatment programs. Hawkstone Solutions now uses Sphagnum Moss and Purified Tannins to treat all kinds of operating water systems with excellent control of scale, corrosion and microbiological activity including Legionella.
Marc began his career in water treatment as a product development chemist with Nalco Chemicals Ltd. in 1992 after earning his B.Sc. at the University of British Columbia and his M.Sc. from the University of Alberta.
