The BDO Digital cybersecurity team will host a workshop that explores the anatomy of a cyber-attack including the various types of threat actors and the common methods they employ to target businesses.
During the workshop, participants will be taken through the steps adversaries take to achieve their objectives. The session includes a review of real-world examples of data breaches and their impacts on businesses.

Sacha Blasiak-Priestley, Director, Cloud Security, BDO Digital
Sacha is an accomplished cyber leader with 20 years of multi-disciplined experience in Cyber Security, understanding and delivering across all security domains. She has built high performing cyber teams across multiple areas such as cloud security, security operations and offensive security. Throughout her career, she has worked across many different industries including Retail, Finance, Manufacturing and Public sector with an ability to help clients identify and solve complex problems. She currently leads the Canadian Cloud Security Engineering team at BDO Digital.

Mark Zuzarte, Sr. Director – Application & Offensive Security, BDO Digital
Mark has spent his entire 15-year career in pursuit of building resilient and secure systems through offensive means. He has been involved with numerous initiatives to build effective defensive and offensive security programs. Mark’s pride is building strong, capable, and skilled teams to defend and test systems. He firmly believes that as the best attackers leverage human intelligence and skill, defense teams should as well, and not just rely on automated tools.
At BDO, Mark is responsible for the Offensive Security function, thinking like attackers to find weaknesses in systems before they are discovered by malicious parties, in addition to the Application Security team, working with developers to enable them to build secure apps.
