Tenant Service Associate

Harvard Developments has an immediate opening for a Tenant Service Associate to join its facility management team in Edmonton to work within an office environment fulfilling tenant service requests and performing general maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include a variety of services such as assisting with minor office moves, restocking and maintenance of first aid supplies or equipment, responding to appliance repair issues, replacing lamps, handling confidential shredding, or recycling, minor furniture adjustments or repairs, storage management, and similar or related duties.


This position is best suited to an outgoing and personable self-starter who is fluent in English and possesses a strong customer service orientation, along with an aptitude for general maintenance work, some knowledge of workplace safety and the proper handling of tools, along with good computer literacy. No accreditation is required.

The Tenant Service Associate will:

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience to the building occupants
  • Respond to customer service requests within standards established for safety, comfort, cleanliness, responsiveness, follow up and communication.
  • Maintain positive contractor relationships while overseeing contracted services
  • Carry out general furniture repairs/adjustments, minor office moves and maintaining first aid supplies for the assigned portfolio; and
  • Assist the management team in achieving its customer, financial and organizational objectives.


What you will bring to the job:

  • A high level of commitment to serving customers
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean abstract;
  • A mechanical inclination with practiced motor skills and capacity to perform physical work;
  • Proficiency in the English language both written and verbal, as well as strong listening and collaborative skills that enable positive and beneficial relationships;
  • Good computer literacy with experience using digital devices;
  • A working knowledge of general workplace safety practices and requirements; and
  • The ability to work independently or collaboratively as circumstances may dictate, using personal initiative and sound judgment to achieve purchasing guidelines, project schedules and budget.
