As a contractor, Flynn Industrial Ltd. plays a key role in blending architectural visions with practical detailing to ensure quality, functional, and high-performance Roof and Wall Systems. Flynn is positioned to serve the entire Canadian Industrial construction marketplace.

A Day in the Life

• Preparing takeoffs/estimates for assigned jobs
• Track progress and quality of work being performed by various trades
• Writing up work orders
• Use project scheduling and tools to monitor plans, work hours, budgets, and expenditures
• Consult with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve issues

What We Are Seeking

• 3-5 years’ experience working in construction is an asset
• Industrial experience is an asset
• Education in a civil engineering / building science program or a related educational field
• Familiarity with construction methods and building codes
• Ability to read plans and specifications
• Proficiency in MS office package, including MS Project
• Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to multi task and work in a team environment
