THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Enterprise Marketing Manager, the Marketing Technology (MarTech) Partner will be responsible for leading marketing technology product ownership, service automation, and digital marketing, working within a team that supports all markets and brands within Rohit Group. This role demands significant specialization and expertise and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across company divisions. The successful candidate will conduct gap analyses and build business cases for future technology investments to align with business objectives.

Rohit is seeking a professional with strong technical skills who has marketing and business experience who has the drive and GRIT to progress projects forward in the face of challenge, efficiently managing the changes. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between the marketing team and IT where they will be collaborating with IT to implement business solutions and acting as a trusted advisor for stakeholders.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Application / Platform Product Ownership

  • Serving as the product owner for marketing applications and platforms, including corporate websites, mobile applications, and platforms for CRM, advertising, direct email, marketing data management, marketing performance dashboarding, and others.
  • Collaborating with divisions, IT, leadership, and stakeholders to gather product requirements for marketing applications / platforms.
  • Developing and communicating product vision to divisions, IT, leadership, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with divisions, IT, leadership, and stakeholders to develop multi-year product roadmaps for marketing applications / platforms, including scope, budget, and timing.
  • Maintaining and prioritizing product backlogs based on business ROI, user feedback, IT priorities, and corporate direction.
  • Working with divisions, IT, leadership, and stakeholders to plan and oversee marketing application / product releases.
  • Overseeing knowledge management and training of MarTech platforms.
  • Supporting division and corporate strategic planning by advising on MarTech options, considerations, and opportunities.
  • Collaborating with divisions, IT, leadership, and stakeholders to produce formal documentation surrounding stakeholder/business requirements, technical specifications, project plans, status updates, and training procedures.
  • Managing MarTech vendor agreements and relationships.
  • Monitoring and reporting on industry trends, best practices, and experimentations surrounding MarTech.

Digital Marketing

  • Corporate governance and processes surrounding maintenance, enhancement, and development of corporate websites across divisions.
  • Collaborating with agencies to design and effectively execute digital strategy.
  • Collaborating with Marketing Managers across divisions, leading search engine optimization activities, including competitor analysis, search word assessment, keyword content integration, Google AdWords campaign management, A/B testing, and other activities.
  • Establishing and managing the structure of digital advertising and analytics accounts across the division.
  • Supporting divisions with social media strategy development and implementation (particularly channel, growth, engagement, and content strategy).

Service Automation

  • Leading automation of personalized omnichannel engagement across brand touchpoints and CRM platforms.
  • Automating social (online) listening, sentiment analysis, and issues flagging / management (leveraging tools, such as Sprout Social, Meltwater, Brandwatch, etc.).
  • Centralizing and automating dashboarding of campaign, channel, and customer analytics.


FIRST YEAR – MEASURES OF SUCCESS

  • Full understanding of the marketing technology stack and have identified opportunities to meet business and monetary objectives.
  • Have successfully recommended products gaining buy-in and stakeholder support.
  • The organization is well informed of emerging marketing technology, trends, and opportunities.


THE INDIVIDUAL

Given the pivotal role this individual will be expected to play in achieving the strategic objectives of the company and in supporting the success of the organization, it is essential that the successful candidate possess the following core competencies, experience, and attributes:

Education

  • Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing or related field or equivalent post-secondary education.


Experience 

  • Minimum of 3 years experience with proficiency in managing digital marketing, marketing technologies, and service automation.
  • Experience in product ownership and leading a product roadmap with internal stakeholders is an asset

WORK ENVIRONMENT
