Facility & Asset Manager

We are searching for a star candidate to join our Supply Chain team as our next Facilities and Asset Manager. They will proactively ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and security of our diverse facilities, equipment and vehicle fleet. This pivotal role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a knack for managing projects effectively.

The day-to-day activities of our Facilities and Asset Manager will include:

  • Facility Management – Collaborates with vendors and BGE branches to enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability while managing timely and cost-effective completion of repairs, upgrades and resolution of maintenance issues.
  • Communication and Negotiation - Oversee lease agreements for facilities and vehicles including negotiations and renewals.
  • Asset Management - Manage inventory and lifecycle of company assets, including equipment and vehicle fleet. This can include tracking, scheduling, and overseeing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure fleet safety and reliability.

The right candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications on their resume:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in facilities management, asset management, and/or fleet management, preferably in a similar industry or organization.
  • Strong understanding of facility maintenance best practices, asset management principles, and vehicle fleet operations.
  • Experience using software to track and manage resources and projects.

A successful candidate must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test and maintains a non-GDL Class 5 driver’s license with a clean 3-year Driver’s Abstract and three years of insured driving history.
