However, the workplace is evolving rapidly, and the past few years have seen an exponential acceleration in these changes.

The Impact of Remote and Hybrid Work
How has the rise of remote and hybrid work reshaped the purpose of the office? With many businesses embracing these models, we’ll explore whether the hybrid approach is here to stay or if a full return to the office is on the horizon. What innovations will entice people back to the office, and what will future offices need to offer to remain relevant?

The Influence of AI on the Workplace
Artificial intelligence is fundamentally altering how we work, automating tasks, and changing job roles. We will discuss how AI is influencing the office environment, and how offices will need to adapt to support these technological shifts.

Mental Health & Well-being in the Workplace
What role does the physical office play in supporting the mental health and well-being of employees? In an era where work-life balance and well-being are increasingly prioritized, we’ll examine how the office can continue to be a place for social support, connection, and community-building, and how it must evolve to meet the emotional needs of its workforce.

This seminar will delve into these critical issues to better understand the evolving role of the workplace as we look ahead to 2025 and beyond.

PRESENTER

Michele Roach, Principal, Wolski Design Group

Michele, a Principal and Licensed Interior Designer at Wolski Design Group Ltd. in Edmonton, is respected for her nearly four decades of expertise in space planning and design. Known for transforming everyday environments into inspiring spaces, Michele brings creativity and thoughtful detail to each project. Her extensive experience spans corporate, medical, government, and retail sectors, where she is recognized as a leader in commercial interiors. Honored as a Fellow of the Interior Designers of Alberta for her dedication to the profession, reflects her lasting impact on the field.

This event is eligible for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Points. One point per hour will be awarded.
