PRESENTER

Chris Taylor, Pinchin Ltd, Chair, Alberta Safety Codes Council Fire Sub-council

Chris Taylor is the National Leader for the Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) group at Pinchin. Chris has a Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), is a Registered Occupational Hygiene Technologist and a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association.

Chris has nearly 30 years of experience as an occupational hygienist / safety consultant. On behalf of Pinchin Ltd., Chris has conducted and/or managed over 4,000 projects, including numerous large scale / high profile projects such as landmark studies for silica for the Government of Alberta and wood dust and noise for the Alberta Forest Products Association. He was responsible for overall site safety oversight for the CN Wabamun oil spill clean-up project.

Chris is also a past instructor in occupational hygiene at the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Extension. As well, Chris is currently the chair of the Fire Sub-council of the Alberta Safety Council.
